- Our God is in the heavens;
he does whatever he pleases. - If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- For this purpose he called you through our proclamation of the good news, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - Surely he has borne our infirmities
and carried our diseases;
yet we accounted him stricken,
struck down by God, and afflicted. - But he was wounded for our transgressions,
crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the punishment that made us whole,
and by his bruises we are healed. - To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - So teach us to count our days
that we may gain a wise heart. - For who is God except the Lord?
And who is a rock besides our God? - For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Let us test and examine our ways,
and return to the Lord. - So we do not lose heart. Even though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day.
- Some take pride in chariots, and some in horses,
but our pride is in the name of the Lord our God. - Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- He will again have compassion upon us;
he will tread our iniquities under foot.
You will cast all our sins
into the depths of the sea. - O come, let us worship and bow down,
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! - Then the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our lasting good, so as to keep us alive, as is now the case.
- It is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
- The grass withers, the flower fades;
but the word of our God will stand forever. - As far as the east is from the west,
so far he removes our transgressions from us. - For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
- But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
- We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another.
There is no Holy One like the Lord,
no one besides you;
there is no Rock like our God.For what human being knows what is truly human except the human spirit that is within? So also no one comprehends what is truly God's except the Spirit of God. I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.Next verse!With image
