- The grass withers, the flower fades,
but the word of our God will stand forever. - And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are this day.
- Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. - He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
- As far as the east is from the west,
so far does he remove our transgressions from us. - But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
- There is none holy like the Lord:
for there is none besides you;
there is no rock like our God. - For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- And it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to do all this commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us.
- Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
- Take with you words
and return to the Lord;
say to him,
“Take away all iniquity;
accept what is good,
and we will pay with bulls
the vows of our lips.” - In the path of your judgments,
O Lord, we wait for you;
your name and remembrance
are the desire of our soul. - In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
- For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
- For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
- Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
- But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
- For ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are indeed his offspring.’
- Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
- In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.
And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers. May he not leave us or forsake us. Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.Next verse!With image
