- Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

and a refuge in the day of my distress. - There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.
- Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
- And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.
- But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.
- Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.

even his prayer is an abomination. - So Peter was kept in prison, but earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church.
- But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
- The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
