Chinese (traditional)- I fell to the ground and heard a voice say to me, ‘Saul! Saul! Why do you persecute me?’
- In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
deliver me in your righteousness. - Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long. - The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;
save me and I will be saved,
for you are the one I praise. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
lead me on level ground. - But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord,
I wait for God my Savior;
my God will hear me. - Keep me safe, my God,
for in you I take refuge. - You make your saving help my shield,
and your right hand sustains me;
your help has made me great.
You provide a broad path for my feet,
so that my ankles do not give way. - Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord;
may your love and faithfulness always protect me. - My times are in your hands;
deliver me from the hands of my enemies,
from those who pursue me. - When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord;
he brought me into a spacious place. - But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. - The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters. - Since you are my rock and my fortress,
for the sake of your name lead and guide me. - For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
- Then he said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.”
- The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit. - But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
even then I will be confident. - I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
- The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are attentive to their cry. - But I have been the Lord your God
ever since you came out of Egypt.
You shall acknowledge no God but me,
no Savior except me. - I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
- Dishonest money dwindles away,
but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.
When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened. Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”Next verse!With image
