- Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
- And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.
- For you, O God, have tested us;
you have tried us as silver is tried. - It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave.
- O God, you are my God;
earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land
where there is no water. - I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.
- O Lord, all my longing is before you;
my sighing is not hidden from you. - So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
- Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?
- Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.
- Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
- You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am.
- I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. - You shall be holy to me, for I the Lord am holy and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine.
- For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.
- Fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. - Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
- O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar. - Do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.
- You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, Honor your father and mother, and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
- You are a hiding place for me;
you preserve me from trouble;
you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Selah - For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.
- For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts. - Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.
- And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
