- Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
- Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
- Seek good, and not evil,
that you may live;
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you,
as you have said. - And when they bring you to trial and deliver you over, do not be anxious beforehand what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.
- If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.

- And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
- Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.
- For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.” - It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
- How I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you in public and from house to house.
- And those who know your name put their trust in you,
for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. - You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you. - Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
- You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
- Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things.
