- To You, God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise,
For You have given me wisdom and power;
Even now You have made known to me what we requested of You,
For You have made known to us the king’s matter. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart triumphs,
And with my song I shall thank Him. - We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is only fitting, because your faith is increasing abundantly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another grows ever greater.
- And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
- I will give thanks to You, Lord, among the peoples,
And I will sing praises to You among the nations. - I will give thanks to You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments. - But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- The Lord is with you when you are with Him. And if you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you abandon Him, He will abandon you.
- If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
- And on that day you will say,
“Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name.
Make known His deeds among the peoples;
Make them remember that His name is exalted.” - I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go;
I will advise you with My eye upon you. - No, I tell you, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
- You will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.
- For You created my innermost parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to You, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well. - I will not leave you as orphans; I am coming to you.
- You lust and do not have, so you commit murder. And you are envious and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask.
- So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- The Lord bless you, and keep you;
The Lord cause His face to shine on you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His face to you,
And give you peace. - Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.
- So if the Son sets you free, you really will be free.
- If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you.
- I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
- Blessed are you when the people hate you, and when they exclude you, and insult you, and scorn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man.
- Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- Now I make known to you, brothers and sisters, the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which you also stand, by which you also are saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.
- You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.
- And as for you, the anointing which you received from Him remains in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you remain in Him.
- As for you, see that what you heard from the beginning remains in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
- But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who are abusive to you.
- The Lord will fight for you, while you keep silent.
- If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
- When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they will not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched,
Nor will the flame burn you. - Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
- Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you.
- But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
- Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
- And whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive it all.
- If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.
- And who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good?
- You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
- Therefore you have no excuse, you foolish person, everyone of you who passes judgment; for in that matter in which you judge someone else, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.
- For the Lord your God will have blessed you just as He has promised you, and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow; and you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.
- God raised up His Servant for you first, and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways.
- You shall walk entirely in the way which the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and that it may be well for you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you will possess.
- I said to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have nothing good besides You.” - And those who know Your name will put their trust in You,
For You, Lord, have not abandoned those who seek You. - Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.
- Seek good and not evil, so that you may live;
And so may the Lord God of armies be with you,
Just as you have said! - And the Lord is the One who is going ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not desert you or abandon you. Do not fear and do not be dismayed.
- And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
