- You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
- He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.” - Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.
- I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.
- Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
- Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the Lord your God gives you for all time.
- Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
- Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
- And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

- Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.

- Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
- For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
- When anyone becomes aware that they are guilty in any of these matters, they must confess in what way they have sinned.
- You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house.
- The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,
“Hosanna to the Son of David!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Hosanna in the highest heaven!” - But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.
- Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.Next verse!With image
