- For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
- Better is little with the fear of the Lord
than great treasure and trouble therewith. - A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
- Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
- Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine.
- Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
that I might not sin against thee. - Treasures of wickedness profit nothing:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.
- Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips;
I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. - Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
for they are the rejoicing of my heart. - Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing,
and obtaineth favour of the Lord. - He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous:
he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. - And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.Next verse!With image
