Be mindful of your mercy, O LORD, and of your steadfast love… Psalm 25:6-7

Be mindful of your mercy, O Lord, and of your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for your goodness' sake, O Lord! If you sow to your own flesh, you will reap corruption from the flesh; but if you sow to the Spirit, you will reap eternal life from the Spirit. Galatians 6:8	Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not make room for the devil. Ephesians 4:26-27	And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil. anger evil devil
Repent therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out. Acts 3:19	Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. conversion forgiveness repentance
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 1 Corinthians 15:56	For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. law idols
What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin go on living in it? Romans 6:1-2	Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? grace life

Do not love the world or the things in the world. The love of the Father is not in those who love the world. 1 John 2:15	Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. love Father world
Come now, let us argue it out, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be like snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool. Isaiah 1:18	“Come now, let’s settle this,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but the prudent are restrained in speech. Proverbs 10:19	Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut. speaking

We have sinned and done wrong, acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and ordinances. Daniel 9:5	But we have sinned and done wrong. We have rebelled against you and scorned your commands and regulations. confession law
Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. Proverbs 14:34	Godliness makes a nation great, but sin is a disgrace to any people. righteousness
If any of you sin without knowing it, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, you have incurred guilt, and are subject to punishment. Leviticus 5:17	Suppose you sin by violating one of the Lord’s commands. Even if you are unaware of what you have done, you are guilty and will be punished for your sin. law punishment

Everyone who commits sin is a child of the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God was revealed for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.

But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.
