- For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.
- O how abundant is your goodness
that you have laid up for those who fear you,
and accomplished for those who take refuge in you,
in the sight of everyone! - And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.

- God's love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him.
- I came from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and am going to the Father.
- Pray then in this way:
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven. - I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples,
and I will sing praises to you among the nations. - For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one letter, not one stroke of a letter, will pass from the law until all is accomplished.
- Without any doubt, the mystery of our religion is great:
He was revealed in flesh,
vindicated in spirit,
seen by angels,
proclaimed among Gentiles,
believed in throughout the world,
taken up in glory. - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens.
Let your glory be over all the earth. - May I never boast of anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
- God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”
- I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.
- Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;
let this be known in all the earth. - But I say to you, Do not swear at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
