Chinese (traditional)A fool has no delight in understanding,
but only in revealing his own opinion. Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets. So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger. Guide me in your truth, and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation.
I wait for you all day long. You shall most certainly not make gods of silver or gods of gold for yourselves to be alongside me. Who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal. When I am afraid,
I will put my trust in you. My little children, let’s not love in word only, or with the tongue only, but in deed and truth. Since you have been precious and honored in my sight,
and I have loved you,
therefore I will give people in your place,
and nations instead of your life. For who is God, except Yahweh?
Who is a rock, besides our God? These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit. Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in Yahweh’s house forever. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are expedient. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be brought under the power of anything. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” The hands of the diligent ones shall rule,
but laziness ends in slave labor. Therefore let’s not judge one another any more, but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block in his brother’s way, or an occasion for falling. Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don’t know. Lord, all my desire is before you.
My groaning is not hidden from you. Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Wisdom is supreme.
Get wisdom.
Yes, though it costs all your possessions, get understanding. Doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself. Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up. For he satisfies the longing soul.
He fills the hungry soul with good. He humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know, that he might teach you that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of Yahweh’s mouth. Do all things without complaining and arguing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world, holding up the word of life. He alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress.
I will never be greatly shaken. I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out and will find pasture.
