A fool hath no delight in understanding,
but that his heart may discover itself. Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:
for thou art the God of my salvation;
on thee do I wait all the day. Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold. Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. Since thou wast precious in my sight,
thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee:
therefore will I give men for thee,
and people for thy life. For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
for ever. All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. The hand of the diligent shall bear rule:
but the slothful shall be under tribute. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:
and with all thy getting get understanding. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. For he satisfieth the longing soul,
and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life. He only is my rock and my salvation;
he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.Next verse!With image
