Chinese (traditional)If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing. He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things? A gentle answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision amounts to anything, but faith working through love. Great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised!
His greatness is unsearchable. But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name. This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. Train up a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not depart from it. Therefore let’s not judge one another any more, but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block in his brother’s way, or an occasion for falling. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? May he grant you your heart’s desire,
and fulfill all your counsel. No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a container or puts it under a bed; but puts it on a stand, that those who enter in may see the light. That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love. For he satisfies the longing soul.
He fills the hungry soul with good. The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks. Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations.
I will be exalted in the earth. Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance. He answered them, “He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none. He who has food, let him do likewise.” The fear of Yahweh teaches wisdom.
Before honor is humility. That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us. For his anger is but for a moment.
His favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may stay for the night,
but joy comes in the morning. “Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.” For who is God, besides Yahweh?
Who is a rock, besides our God? If you love me, keep my commandments. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. As you don’t know what is the way of the wind,
nor how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child;
even so you don’t know the work of God who does all. Yahweh will be King over all the earth. In that day Yahweh will be one, and his name one. Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.Next verse!With image
