And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? A soft answer turneth away wrath:
but grievous words stir up anger. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
and his greatness is unsearchable. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Grant thee according to thine own heart,
and fulfil all thy counsel. No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light. That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love. For he satisfieth the longing soul,
and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Be still, and know that I am God:
I will be exalted among the heathen,
I will be exalted in the earth. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering. He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise. The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom;
and before honour is humility. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. For his anger endureth but a moment;
in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? If ye love me, keep my commandments. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all. And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one. Teach me to do thy will;
for thou art my God:
thy spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.Next verse!With image
