And in that day shall ye say,
Praise the Lord, call upon his name,
declare his doings among the people,
make mention that his name is exalted. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
for ever. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Before destruction the heart of man is haughty,
and before honour is humility. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. For the Lord is our judge,
the Lord is our lawgiver,
the Lord is our king;
he will save us. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:
and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. Depart from evil, and do good;
seek peace, and pursue it. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour:
but through knowledge shall the just be delivered. To him that is afflicted pity should be shewed from his friend;
but he forsaketh the fear of the Almighty. But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself;
but the simple pass on, and are punished. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. He loveth righteousness and judgment:
the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah. Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.Next verse!With image
