Chinese (traditional)Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments. I, even I, am He who comforts you.
Who are you that you should be afraid
Of a man who will die,
And of the son of a man who will be made like grass? The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. ‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path. For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn His face from you if you return to Him. And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and depart from evil.
It will be health to your flesh,
And strength to your bones. For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have. But who am I, and who are my people,
That we should be able to offer so willingly as this?
For all things come from You,
And of Your own we have given You. A little that a righteous man has
Is better than the riches of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken,
But the Lord upholds the righteous. Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. For the Lord loves justice,
And does not forsake His saints;
They are preserved forever,
But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. Oh, that they had such a heart in them that they would fear Me and always keep all My commandments, that it might be well with them and with their children forever! Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. Open your mouth, judge righteously,
And plead the cause of the poor and needy. But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime,
And in the night His song shall be with me—
A prayer to the God of my life. That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul;
If you have found it, there is a prospect,
And your hope will not be cut off. For we walk by faith, not by sight. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. The Lord watches over the strangers;
He relieves the fatherless and widow;
But the way of the wicked He turns upside down. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing. He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
