- Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted. - And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good?
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has chosen as His own inheritance. - Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit. - But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
- For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous;
With favor You will surround him as with a shield. - Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
- Make Your face shine upon Your servant;
Save me for Your mercies’ sake. - He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
He is a shield to those who walk uprightly. - Hear, my son, and receive my sayings,
And the years of your life will be many. - The memory of the righteous is blessed,
But the name of the wicked will rot. - Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven,
Whose sin is covered. - Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
- Save now, I pray, O Lord;
O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
We have blessed you from the house of the Lord. - What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him? - And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven.
- “If you will not hear,
And if you will not take it to heart,
To give glory to My name,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“I will send a curse upon you,
And I will curse your blessings.
Yes, I have cursed them already,
Because you do not take it to heart.” - If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them,
then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. - And so it was, because the midwives feared God, that He provided households for them.
- Blessed are you when men hate you,
And when they exclude you,
And revile you, and cast out your name as evil,
For the Son of Man’s sake. - And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
- And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed; because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.
- Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects;
Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. - So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.”
