- What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.
- And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one and his name one.
- Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
- By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
- Unless the Lord builds the house,
those who build it labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the watchman stays awake in vain. - And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
- Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
- God shall bless us;
let all the ends of the earth fear him! - To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
- So I will show my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! - He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”
- But you, O Lord, reign forever;
your throne endures to all generations. - But I am the Lord your God
from the land of Egypt;
you know no God but me,
and besides me there is no savior. - Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.
- Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - God is not man, that he should lie,
or a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Has he said, and will he not do it?
Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? - The young lions suffer want and hunger;
but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. - As a deer pants for flowing streams,
so pants my soul for you, O God. - No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
- Who has performed and done this,
calling the generations from the beginning?
I, the Lord, the first,
and with the last; I am he.
The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord!
O Lord, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my pleas for mercy!
