- But I am the Lord your God
from the land of Egypt;
you know no God but me,
and besides me there is no savior. - Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
- Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
- Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.
- God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
- The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof,
the world and those who dwell therein. - Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
- You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
- I will be glad and exult in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- He reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what is in the darkness,
and the light dwells with him. - The Almighty—we cannot find him;
he is great in power;
justice and abundant righteousness he will not violate. - For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Our God is in the heavens;
he does all that he pleases. - For a thousand years in your sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
or as a watch in the night. - Who builds his upper chambers in the heavens
and founds his vault upon the earth;
who calls for the waters of the sea
and pours them out upon the surface of the earth—
the Lord is his name. - And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.
- And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
- And behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
- This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.
- And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!
Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. That according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love.Next verse!With image
