- The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
the righteous man runs into it and is safe. - By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
- As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.

your throne endures to all generations. - God is not man, that he should lie,
or a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Has he said, and will he not do it?
Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? - Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord.
Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord. - So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them. - These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!
