- Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever you had formed the earth and the world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God. - As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.
- Who has performed and done this,
calling the generations from the beginning?
I, the Lord, the first,
and with the last; I am he. - Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,

- Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his steadfast love. - Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
- Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
- So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the Lord.
- As a deer pants for flowing streams,
so pants my soul for you, O God. - Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.
- But you, O Lord, reign forever;
your throne endures to all generations. - The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
- God is not man, that he should lie,
or a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Has he said, and will he not do it?
Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? - What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
- Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord.
Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord. - No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
- Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
