  • As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.
  • Before the mountains were brought forth,
    or ever you had formed the earth and the world,
    from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
  • Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
  • This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

  • And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
  • The young lions suffer want and hunger;
    but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
  • Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
  • Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.
  • Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
  • So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the Lord.
  • As a deer pants for flowing streams,
    so pants my soul for you, O God.
  • The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
  • No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
  • But you, O Lord, reign forever;
    your throne endures to all generations.
  • What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
  • God is not man, that he should lie,
    or a son of man, that he should change his mind.
    Has he said, and will he not do it?
    Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?
  • Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord.
    Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord.
  • These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
  • Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
