- As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.
- What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
- By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
- And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one and his name one.
- Unless the Lord builds the house,
those who build it labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the watchman stays awake in vain. - And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
- Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
- To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

from the land of Egypt;

and besides me there is no savior. - Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- God is not man, that he should lie,
or a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Has he said, and will he not do it?
Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? - The young lions suffer want and hunger;
but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - As a deer pants for flowing streams,
so pants my soul for you, O God. - The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
- So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.
