- Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
- Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
- And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
- And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
- For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
- Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
- So we can confidently say,
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear;
what can man do to me?” - Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
- Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
- For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory! Selah Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?Next verse!With image
