Jesus (5/8)

  • These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.
  • But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.
  • And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
  • I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.
  • For I handed down to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.
  • So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone.
  • And above His head they put up the charge against Him which read, “THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
  • And sitting down, He called the twelve and said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”
  • While they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
  • If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.
  • So if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them. For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
  • Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.
  • Namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their wrongdoings against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
  • No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him.
  • The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him.
  • Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
  • Just as the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, the one who eats Me, he also will live because of Me.
  • Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
  • God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
  • She will give birth to a Son; and you shall name Him Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.
  • But now in Christ Jesus you who previously were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
  • That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.
  • From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
  • And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
  • There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
