Jesus (6/8)

  • The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him.
  • And He summoned the crowd together with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.”
  • So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
  • So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
  • That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.
  • Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
  • For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.
  • But now in Christ Jesus you who previously were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
  • Beyond question, great is the mystery of godliness:
    He who was revealed in the flesh,
    Was vindicated in the Spirit,
    Seen by angels,
    Proclaimed among the nations,
    Believed on in the world,
    Taken up in glory.
  • And He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of people.”
  • But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.
  • That their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and that they would attain to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself.
  • And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven.
  • So Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not My own, but His who sent Me.”
  • And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body, which is being given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
  • Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.
  • Therefore, since He has been exalted at the right hand of God, and has received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He has poured out this which you both see and hear.
  • The angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; for that reason also the holy Child will be called the Son of God.”
  • When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, namely, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, He will testify about Me.
  • For since by a man death came, by a Man also came the resurrection of the dead.
  • Therefore, no one is to act as your judge in regard to food and drink, or in respect to a festival or a new moon, or a Sabbath day— things which are only a shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.
  • Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will.
  • So if I, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
  • And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you shall name Him Jesus.”
  • For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

But he said to them, “Do not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen; He is not here; see, here is the place where they laid Him.”
