Jesus (2/8)

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful.
Very truly I tell you, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.Most certainly I tell you, he who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me, receives him who sent me.
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!Who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross.
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don’t have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
He must become greater; I must become less.He must increase, but I must decrease.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.
Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. But speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ.
I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out and will find pasture.
If you love me, keep my commands. If you love me, keep my commandments.
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. For a child is born to us. A son is given to us; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses.Be it known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man is proclaimed to you remission of sins; and by him everyone who believes is justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved.
Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life.
Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to the whole creation.”
Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority. For in him all the fullness of the Deity dwells bodily, and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power.
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. The Word became flesh and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the only born Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth.
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you.

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.The testimony is this: that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
