Chinese (traditional)- For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
- For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
- I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
- He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law,
even his prayer shall be abomination. - But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
- I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
In my distress I called upon the Lord,
and cried unto my God:
he heard my voice out of his temple,
and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
