- You lust, and don’t have. You murder and covet, and can’t obtain. You fight and make war. You don’t have, because you don’t ask.
- In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.
- Yahweh, in the morning you will hear my voice.
In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly. - Yahweh will command his loving kindness in the daytime.
In the night his song shall be with me:
a prayer to the God of my life. - Hear my prayer, Yahweh.
Listen to my petitions.
In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me. - Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.
- Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
- For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears open to their prayer;
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - Out of my distress, I called on Yah.
Yah answered me with freedom. - For I know that this will turn out to my salvation through your prayers and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
- Pray like this:

- Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be acceptable in your sight,
Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer. - Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
- This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles. - It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.

- Yahweh restored Job’s prosperity when he prayed for his friends. Yahweh gave Job twice as much as he had before.
- Peter therefore was kept in the prison, but constant prayer was made by the assembly to God for him.
- When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
- If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?
- Turn back, and tell Hezekiah the prince of my people, ‘Yahweh, the God of David your father, says, “I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day, you will go up to Yahweh’s house.”’
- But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.
- Arise, Yahweh!
God, lift up your hand!
Don’t forget the helpless. - I thank you and praise you,
O God of my fathers,
who have given me wisdom and might,
and have now made known to me what we desired of you;
for you have made known to us the king’s matter.
