Psalm 34 - NRSV & NIV

I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.
I sought the Lord, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.
This poor soul cried, and was heard by the Lord, and was saved from every trouble.This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.
O taste and see that the Lord is good; happy are those who take refuge in him.Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
The young lions suffer want and hunger, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit.Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.
Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

The face of the Lord is against evildoers, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth.
When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit.The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord rescues them from them all.The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.
The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
