- My times are in thy hand:
deliver me from the hand of mine enemies,
and from them that persecute me. - I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
- Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of thy name:
and deliver us, and purge away our sins,
for thy name's sake. - Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
- But I will sacrifice unto thee
with the voice of thanksgiving;
I will pay that that I have vowed.
Salvation is of the Lord. - This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles. - Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits,
even the God of our salvation. Selah. - For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
- Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord:
O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord. - Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:
save me for thy mercies' sake. - The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.
- There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
- Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
- And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
- Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
