- For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

- The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants:
and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. - Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
- For thus saith the high and lofty One
that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy;
I dwell in the high and holy place,
with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit,
to revive the spirit of the humble,
and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. - Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
- Salvation belongeth unto the Lord:
thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. - For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
- For I know that my redeemer liveth,
and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth. - But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.
- The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. - And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
- As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.
- I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
