- Although the fig tree shall not blossom,
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail,
and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation. - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - Since thou wast precious in my sight,
thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee:
therefore will I give men for thee,
and people for thy life. - I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
- But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

- Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;
and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
- He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
- For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
