Bible Verses about 'Always'

  • Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say: Rejoice!
  • I keep the Lord always before me,
    for with him at my right hand
    I will never fall.
  • In all of your prayers and entreaties, pray always in the Spirit. To that end, keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.
  • Make sure that no one pays back evil for evil. Rather, always aim to achieve what is best for each other and for everyone.
  • As sorrowful, and yet we are always rejoicing; as poor, and yet we make many rich; as having nothing, and yet we possess everything.
  • Rejoice always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
  • Oh, that they would have fear of me in their hearts and they would observe all of my commandments always. Then things would go well with them and their children forever.
  • Rather, revere Christ as Lord in your hearts.
    Always be prepared to offer an explanation to anyone who asks you to justify the hope that is in you. However, do so with gentleness and respect.
  • The Lord commanded us to observe all of these statutes and to fear the Lord, our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, even as we are today.
  • Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of your opportunity. Let your speech always be gracious and seasoned with wisdom, so that you will know how to respond properly to all.
  • Brethren, we must always give thanks to God for you, and it is only right that we do so. For your faith grows ever more, and the love that all of you have for one another continues to increase.
  • Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the world.
  • Therefore, my beloved brethren, stand firm and immovable, devoting yourselves completely to the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
  • Diligent labor always yields profit,
    but idle conversation only leads to poverty.
  • Love does not rejoice over wrongdoing
    but rejoices in the truth.
    Love bears all things,
    believes all things,
    hopes all things,
    endures all things.
  • And God is able to enrich you with an abundance of every grace, so that, with all of your needs provided for, you may be able to produce a surplus of good works.
  • Therefore, he has the full power to save those who approach God through him, since he lives forever to intercede for them.
  • And let the peace of Christ reign in your hearts, because it was for this that you were called together in one body. Always be thankful.
  • I will bless the Lord at all times;
    his praise will be continually on my lips.
  • At the time that discipline is received, it always seems painful rather than pleasant, but afterward it yields a harvest of peace and uprightness to those who have been trained by it.
  • May the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
  • Rend your hearts and not your garments,
    and turn back to the Lord, your God.
    For he is gracious and merciful,
    slow to anger, rich in kindness,
    and always prepared to relent from punishing.
  • Reflect on the Lord and his strength;
    seek his face continually.
  • O Lord, do not withhold your mercy from me;
    may your kindness and your truth keep me safe forever.
  • Seek the Lord and his strength,
    seek his face continually.

All day long the godless man continues to covet,
whereas the righteous man gives unsparingly.
