- In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing among the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
- You shall serve the Lord, your God. He will bless your bread and water and take away sickness from your midst.
- Let marriage be held in honor by all, and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for those who are immoral and adulterers will have to face God’s judgment.

- Without any doubt, the mystery of our religion is great:

taken up in glory. - Through the grace that God has bestowed upon me, I advise every one of you not to think of yourself too highly, but to regard yourself objectively, based on the measure of faith that God has granted.
- If someone among you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
- God’s love was revealed to us in this way:
God sent his only-begotten Son into the world
so that we might have life through him. - If anyone thinks that he is religious but does not restrain his tongue, he is deceiving himself, and his religion is worthless.
- Woe to anyone who rises up against his Maker,
or to the pot that is displeased with the potter.
Does the clay say to the one who molds it,
“What are you doing?
Your work makes no sense.” - Above all, maintain the fervor of your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.
- And I heard a loud voice proclaim from the throne:
“Behold, God’s dwelling is with mankind;
he will dwell with them.
They will be his people,
and he will be their God,
God-with-them.
He will wipe every tear from their eyes,
and there will no longer be death.
Neither will there be any mourning or crying or pain,
for the old order has passed away.” - I am confident of this: that the one who began a good work in you will bring it to completion on the day of Christ Jesus.
- Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.
- Let your attitude be identical to that of Christ Jesus.
- Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and blessed and broke them and gave them to the disciples to distribute among the people. They all ate and were satisfied. Then they gathered up what was left over—twelve baskets of fragments.
- And just as no human being comprehends any person’s innermost being except the person’s own spirit within him, so also no one comprehends what pertains to God except the Spirit of God.
- The Lord, your God, is in your midst,
a warrior and a savior.
He will rejoice over you with gladness
and renew you through his love.
He will exult over you with shouts of joy. - The Lord watches over the stranger
and sustains the fatherless and the widow,
but he blocks the way of the wicked. - By his own choice he gave us birth through the way of truth so that we may be a kind of firstfruits of all his creation.
- Make sure that no one pays back evil for evil. Rather, always aim to achieve what is best for each other and for everyone.
- The vine has withered;
the fig tree droops.
The pomegranate, the palm, and the apple tree—
all the trees of the field have dried up.
And the joy of the people
has also withered away. - Because the sentence for committing an evil act is not carried out quickly, people’s hearts are prone to act wickedly.
- He is the head of the body,
that is, the Church.
He is the beginning,
the firstborn from the dead,
so that in every way
he should be supreme. - Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? If he is not, then you have failed the test.
