- I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples,
and I will sing praises to you among the nations. - It will not be so among you; but whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you must be your slave.
- But fornication and impurity of any kind, or greed, must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper among saints.
- O give thanks to the Lord, call on his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples. - Be still, and know that I am God!
I am exalted among the nations,
I am exalted in the earth. - He said, “Then put away the foreign gods that are among you, and incline your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”
- For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
- Who is wise and understanding among you? Show by your good life that your works are done with gentleness born of wisdom.
- I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord, says the Lord God, when through you I display my holiness before their eyes.
- And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father's only son, full of grace and truth.
- Well then, does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
- For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.
- And you will say in that day:
Give thanks to the Lord,
call on his name;
make known his deeds among the nations;
proclaim that his name is exalted. - As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the lure of wealth choke the word, and it yields nothing.
- There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved.
- And said to them, “Whoever welcomes this child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me; for the least among all of you is the greatest.”
- To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and curing every disease and every sickness among the people.
- Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace among those whom he favors! - You shall worship the Lord your God, and I will bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from among you.
- God's love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him.
- Now I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in agreement and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same purpose.
- But you, O Bethlehem of Ephrathah,
who are one of the little clans of Judah,
from you shall come forth for me
one who is to rule in Israel,
whose origin is from of old,
from ancient days. - Without any doubt, the mystery of our religion is great:
He was revealed in flesh,
vindicated in spirit,
seen by angels,
proclaimed among Gentiles,
believed in throughout the world,
taken up in glory. - Do not deceive yourselves. If you think that you are wise in this age, you should become fools so that you may become wise.
For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
