- Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my salvation and my God. - For you are my rock and my fortress;
and for your name's sake you lead me and guide me. - Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied. - For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.
- For a thousand years in your sight

- Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. - God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.
- And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
- The Rock, his work is perfect,
for all his ways are justice.
A God of faithfulness and without iniquity,
just and upright is he. - Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved,
for you are my praise. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God!
Let your good Spirit lead me
on level ground! - The steps of a man are established by the Lord,
when he delights in his way. - Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the Lord delivers him out of them all. - Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are right and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to humble.
- The Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down;
the Lord loves the righteous. - For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing.
