Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Around'
- But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high. - John’s clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey.
- Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
- Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man. - I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.
- Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
- Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things;
let this be known to all the world. - A gossip betrays a confidence,
but a trustworthy person keeps a secret. - This is what the Lord says:
“Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls.
But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’” - About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.
- Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers. - The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,
“Hosanna to the Son of David!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Hosanna in the highest heaven!” - Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.Next verse!With image
