- And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
- Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
- But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
- But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
- I stretch forth my hands unto thee:
my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. - And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

return unto me;
for I have redeemed thee. - As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

Let them not depart from thine eyes;
keep them in the midst of thine heart. - I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies,
as much as in all riches. - As far as the east is from the west,
so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. - My son, forget not my law;
but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life,
and peace, shall they add to thee. - And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
- I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,
my soul shall be joyful in my God;
for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation,
he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments,
and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. - I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live:
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. - As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
- If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
- My son, keep thy father's commandment,
and forsake not the law of thy mother. - Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
- And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
- For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
- Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
- But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
- My doctrine shall drop as the rain,
my speech shall distil as the dew,
as the small rain upon the tender herb,
and as the showers upon the grass. - And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.
