You have refined us, as silver is refined. - Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.
- But now he has obtained a more excellent ministry, by as much as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which on better promises has been given as law.
- As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to save many people alive, as is happening today.
- Like water reflects a face,
so a man’s heart reflects the man. - Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.
- For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
- And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
- A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another.
- Seek good, and not evil,
that you may live;
and so Yahweh, the God of Armies, will be with you,
as you say. - He led them out as far as Bethany, and he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he blessed them, he withdrew from them and was carried up into heaven.
- The second is like this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
