Chinese (traditional)- Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
- Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts,
cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. - For the mountains shall depart,
and the hills be removed;
but my kindness shall not depart from thee,
neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed,
saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. - Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
- Ponder the path of thy feet,
and let all thy ways be established. - The hand of the diligent shall bear rule:
but the slothful shall be under tribute. - Seek ye the Lord while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is near. - Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord. - Labour not to be rich:
cease from thine own wisdom. - He only is my rock and my salvation;
he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. - And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
- Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
- I will be glad and rejoice in thee:
I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. - My son, if thine heart be wise,
my heart shall rejoice, even mine. - Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
- Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
- He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
- And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
- For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
- But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
- Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
- In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust;
let me never be ashamed:
deliver me in thy righteousness. - Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
- Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God.
My times are in thy hand:
deliver me from the hand of mine enemies,
and from them that persecute me. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.Next verse!With image
