Chinese (traditional)- Be not wise in thine own eyes:
fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
It shall be health to thy navel,
and marrow to thy bones. - He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. - Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts,
cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. - The hand of the diligent shall bear rule:
but the slothful shall be under tribute. - Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord. - That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
- And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
- Ponder the path of thy feet,
and let all thy ways be established. - Seek ye the Lord while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is near. - He only is my rock and my salvation;
he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. - For the mountains shall depart,
and the hills be removed;
but my kindness shall not depart from thee,
neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed,
saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. - Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
- And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
- I will be glad and rejoice in thee:
I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. - He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
- But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
- But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
- Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
- My son, if thine heart be wise,
my heart shall rejoice, even mine. - And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
- In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust;
let me never be ashamed:
deliver me in thy righteousness. - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
- Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. When thou passest through the waters,
I will be with thee;
and through the rivers,
they shall not overflow thee:
when thou walkest through the fire,
thou shalt not be burned;
neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.Next verse!With image
