Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good? | And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? |
You shall not mistreat any widow or fatherless child. If you do mistreat them, and they cry out to me, I will surely hear their cry, and my wrath will burn, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children fatherless. | Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child. If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry; And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless. |
By which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. | Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. |
It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave. | But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant. |
Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. | He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. |
By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. | Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. |

Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. | For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. |
You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace. | Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. |
