- In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.
- Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
- No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known.
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
- And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
- As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them just as on us at the beginning.
- Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father.
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom,
and whatever you get, get insight. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
fools despise wisdom and instruction. - For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight. - Who has performed and done this,
calling the generations from the beginning?
I, the Lord, the first,
and with the last; I am he. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all those who practice it have a good understanding.
His praise endures forever! - And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.

- You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
- But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’ ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.
- Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began.
He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us). For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.Next verse!With image
