Believe and receive (3/4)

  • Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.”
  • But Jesus said to him, “ ‘If You can’? All things are possible for the one who believes.”
  • I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
  • We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
  • I certainly believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living.
  • And He said to them, “Whoever receives this child in My name receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me; for the one who is least among all of you, this is the one who is great.”
  • Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
  • For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
  • Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
  • But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
  • For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
  • Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choice of you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.
  • One who conceals his wrongdoings will not prosper,
But one who confesses and abandons them will find compassion.
  • Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
  • “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and put Me to the test now in this,” says the Lord of armies, “if I do not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.”
  • I will raise my eyes to the mountains;
From where will my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
    Who made heaven and earth.
  • For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.
  • So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
  • Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted to him.
  • But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.
  • The one who believes in the Son has eternal life; but the one who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
  • For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, so that those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose on their behalf.
  • Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.
  • Who is the one who overcomes the world, but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
  • Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things, from which you could not be freed through the Law of Moses.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Bible verse of the day

But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
