accept that which is good,
and we will offer
the fruit of our lips.” - Therefore rid yourselves of all sordidness and rank growth of wickedness, and welcome with meekness the implanted word that has the power to save your souls.
- All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.
- I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - Jesus said to him, “If you are able!—All things can be done for the one who believes.”
- Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, for you are receiving the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
- Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and if you do not doubt in your heart, but believe that what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you.
- Welcome those who are weak in faith, but not for the purpose of quarreling over opinions.
