In all of your prayers and entreaties, pray always in the Spirit. To that end, keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
The time of fulfillment has arrived, and the kingdom of God is close at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.“The time promised by God has come at last!” he announced. “The Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News!”
And the one who searches hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.
They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayers. All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.
Who indeed conquers the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.
If you confess with your lips, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Let us then make every effort to enter into that rest, so that no one may fall by following that example of refusing to believe. So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall.
For God would not be so unjust as to ignore your work and the love that you have shown for his name by the services you have rendered to the saints and still continue to render. For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.
Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.”Paul said, “John’s baptism called for repentance from sin. But John himself told the people to believe in the one who would come later, meaning Jesus.”
For one believes in the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.
We have come to know and to believe in the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God in him.We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
But without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
When you pray do not go on babbling endlessly as the pagans do, for they believe that they are more likely to be heard because of their many words. When you pray, don’t babble on and on as the Gentiles do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again.
However, to those who did accept him and who believed in his name he granted the power to become children of God.But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of your opportunity. Let your speech always be gracious and seasoned with wisdom, so that you will know how to respond properly to all.Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone.
But according to Scripture all things have been confined under sin, so that through faith in Jesus Christ what was promised might be given to those who believe. But the Scriptures declare that we are all prisoners of sin, so we receive God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.
Meanwhile, the Church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria enjoyed peace, building up strength and living in the fear of the Lord. Encouraged by the Holy Spirit, the Church grew in numbers. The church then had peace throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria, and it became stronger as the believers lived in the fear of the Lord. And with the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, it also grew in numbers.
When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all assembled together in one place. Suddenly, there came from heaven a sound similar to that of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were sitting. On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting.
Then Jesus said to those Jews who did believe in him, “If you remain faithful to my word, you will truly be my disciples. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ.
Love does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

But for that very reason I was treated mercifully, so that in me Jesus Christ might exhibit his inexhaustible patience, making me an example for those who would come to believe in him for eternal life. But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners.
