Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Beside'
- The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters. - There is no one holy like the Lord;
there is no one besides you;
there is no Rock like our God. - Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you. - For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God? - But I have been the Lord your God
ever since you came out of Egypt.
You shall acknowledge no God but me,
no Savior except me. - For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God? - They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”
- How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears.
- I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. - Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me. - Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
- For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.
- I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
apart from you I have no good thing.” - Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
