- Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

- To do justice and judgment
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - Good and upright is the Lord:
therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
The meek will he guide in judgment:
and the meek will he teach his way. - But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
- For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
- Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.
