- Anxiety in a person’s heart weighs it down,
But a good word makes it glad. - The afflictions of the righteous are many,
But the Lord rescues him from them all. - But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
- But as for you, proclaim the things which are fitting for sound doctrine.
- A person’s pride will bring him low,
But a humble spirit will obtain honor. - But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
But those who deal faithfully are His delight. - The ransom of a person’s life is his wealth,
But the poor hears no rebuke. - The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.
