those who take advice are wise. - Now a mediator is helpful if more than one party must reach an agreement. But God, who is one, did not use a mediator when he gave his promise to Abraham.

- But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

- Evil people get rich for the moment,
but the reward of the godly will last. - But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.
- Some nations boast of their chariots and horses,
but we boast in the name of the Lord our God. - The hopes of the godly result in happiness,
but the expectations of the wicked come to nothing. - A gossip goes around telling secrets,
but those who are trustworthy can keep a confidence. - People with integrity walk safely,
but those who follow crooked paths will be exposed.
