Chinese (traditional)- But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
- Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
- By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
- Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.
- Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
- For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
- I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
- Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.
For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit. - Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word.
- And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
- Direct my steps by Your word,
And let no iniquity have dominion over me. - Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
- God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.
- As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.
- I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
- And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifested in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,
Received up in glory. - Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
- By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.
- Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.
- By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
- But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
- Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).
- And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established— that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.”
