- And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment.

he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. - And I will make them and the places all around my hill a blessing, and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing.
- But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.
- All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
- To this day I have had the help that comes from God, and so I stand here testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would come to pass: that the Christ must suffer and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles.
- Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
- Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- A fool's lips walk into a fight,
and his mouth invites a beating. - My soul yearns for you in the night;
my spirit within me earnestly seeks you.
For when your judgments are in the earth,
the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness. - No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light.
- And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.
- For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: “Seek me and live.”
